Odoo Functional Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Odoo Functional Engineer to join our dynamic team at Xynotech. The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing, customizing, and optimizing Odoo ERP solutions to meet client-specific business needs. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes, strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience in Odoo modules.

Key Responsibilities

· Client Consultation: Engage with clients to understand their business processes, needs, and objectives. Conduct requirements gathering and analysis.

· Odoo Configuration: Configure and customize Odoo modules (e.g., Sales, Inventory, Accounting, CRM, HR, Manufacturing) to meet client requirements.

· Implementation Management: Assist in or manage the implementation of Odoo ERP solutions, ensuring timely delivery and quality.

· Data Migration: Manage and validate data import/export between legacy systems and Odoo.

· Integration Management: Support integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, eCommerce, or HR tools) when required.

· Training and Support: Provide training to end-users and ongoing support post-implementation to ensure smooth adoption.

· Documentation: Create documentation for configurations, customizations, and user guides.

· Testing: Conduct functional testing to ensure Odoo solutions meet client requirements.

· Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues during and after implementation.

· Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with Odoo developments and suggest improvements where beneficial.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.

· 3+ years of experience working with Odoo ERP, including hands-on experience with multiple modules.

· Strong understanding of business processes and ERP workflows.

· Must have solid knowledge of accounting module.

· Knowledge of manufacturing module is a plus.

· Familiarity with Odoo versions 15–18 preferred.

· Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client interaction.

· Experience with SQL, Python, or XML is a plus.

· Odoo Functional Certification is a plus.
