Job Title: Odoo Developer
Department: IT / ERP Solutions
Reports To: IT Manager / ERP Project Manager

Job Purpose:
The Odoo Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business applications using the Odoo ERP platform. The role involves customizing Odoo modules, integrating with other systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring smooth ERP operations in alignment with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Odoo ERP functionalities.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, etc.).
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external APIs.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices.
• Maintain system performance, security, and scalability.
• Provide technical support, bug fixing, and troubleshooting for Odoo-related issues.
• Prepare technical documentation for developed modules and processes.
• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other team members to deliver high-quality ERP solutions.
• Stay up to date with new Odoo releases and features to recommend improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in Odoo development (Odoo v12 or higher preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Odoo framework, module development, and customization.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu server environments.
• Good understanding of ERP workflows and business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred:

• Odoo certification or ERP-related certifications.
• Experience with Odoo.sh or cloud-hosted ERP deployments.
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD processes.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position (on-site or hybrid, depending on company policy).
• Occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.
