Organization: The Organisation Harley’s Fine Baking (https://www.harleys.com/), is a European style patisserie (premium cake selling company) created by an IIM professor to disrupt the cake and coffee market, established to spread bonafide taste of the streets of Manhattan across the world. Brought into the world from a love for baking, the desire to create a meeting place that serves delicious food with a warm rustic environment. The Organization offers a full scope of Breads, morning merchandise, cakes, baked and savoury goods. Currently the team size is of about 200+ people with more than 15 outlets across Hyderabad, along with a plan of opening 100 new outlets across Mumbai, Goa, Vijayawada, Bangalore, Chennai scaling up to 1000+ people over the next year.

Designation: Odoo Python Developer

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage

Certifications: Odoo Certification (Technical / Functional / Odoo v14+ preferred) – Good to have, Python Programming Certification_ – Preferred._

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in years in Odoo development (Python-based ERP).

Job Profile: The Odoo Python Developer will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo ERP modules to support Harley’s Fine Baking’s growing operations across manufacturing, supply chain, finance, sales, and retail. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to translate operational requirements into scalable, efficient, and reliable ERP solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Odoo modules using Python and Odoo framework.
• Customize existing Odoo modules related to Manufacturing, Inventory, Accounting, POS, Sales, and Purchase.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and third-party applications with Odoo.
• Perform data migration, system configuration, and module upgrades across Odoo versions.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented Python code following best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve functional and technical issues in Odoo applications.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Optimize system performance, database queries (PostgreSQL), and server-side processes.
• Ensure security, access controls, and role-based permissions within Odoo.
• Provide technical support, user training assistance, and post-deployment support.

Required Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming
• Hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (v14 or above preferred)
• Solid understanding of Odoo ORM, MVC architecture, and business workflows
• Experience with PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, and QWeb
• Knowledge of Odoo Studio, module development, and customization
• Experience in ERP integrations and API development
• Familiarity with Linux environments and server deployment
• Understanding of manufacturing, inventory, and supply chain processes
• Ability to write technical documentation and follow coding standards

Desired Skills:

• Experience in F&B, Retail, or Manufacturing domain
• Exposure to Odoo.sh or cloud-based deployments
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with performance tuning and load optimization
• Functional understanding of Finance, POS, and CRM modules
