Odoo Support Specialist

Role Overview

We are looking for an ERP Support Specialist (Odoo) to join our IT team and support the day-to-day operation of our ERP system.

This role focuses on providing first-line system support, resolving ERP issues, answering support requests, documenting cases, and escalating technical problems to the development team when required.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a system support role, good Odoo knowledge, and basic PostgreSQL / SQL skills to support issue investigation and troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities

* User Support: Provide first-line ERP support, respond to support requests, assist users in resolving issues, and guide them on correct system usage.

* Ticket Management: Log and manage support tickets, categorize and prioritize requests, track issues, and escalate when needed.

* Issue Investigation: Reproduce problems, perform initial troubleshooting, use SQL / PostgreSQL when required to verify data, and identify user errors, configuration issues, or possible system bugs.

* Developer Coordination: Escalate issues properly, gather details from users, and provide clear reproduction steps and supporting information.

* Documentation & Knowledge Base: Document common issues and solutions, create user guides, tutorials, and internal documentation.


Systems & Tools:

1- Odoo ERP (Odoo 16)

2- Good Python understanding

3- Good SQL knowledge

4- PostgreSQL knowledge

5- Experience with ticketing / system support tools


Business Process Knowledge:

Candidates should have basic understanding of common ERP business operations, including:

* Logistics / Inventory (GDN, GRN, Adjustment ...etc)

* Accounting (Invoicing, Billing ..etc)

* Human Resources (Time Off, Payroll ...etc)


Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems or a related field

* 1-3 years of experience working with Odoo ERP

* Previous experience in system support, ERP support, or application support

* Good PostgreSQL / SQL knowledge for basic investigation and troubleshooting

* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

* Ability to communicate clearly with users from different departments

* Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests
