Role Overview
The OET (Doctor) Writing & Speaking Trainer will be responsible for delivering structured, high-quality training to medical professionals preparing for the OET exam. The trainer must guide students in improving their medical communication skills, help them understand OET testing standards, and ensure they achieve their targeted grades in Writing and Speaking modules.
Key Responsibilities
1. Training Delivery
- Conduct engaging online/offline classes for OET Medicine (Doctors) – Writing & Speaking.
- Teach doctor-specific writing tasks including referral letters, discharge summaries, transfer letters, and clinical communication.
- Train students to perform effectively in medical role-play interactions following OET standards.
2. Content & Lesson Planning
- Prepare lesson plans, modules, writing samples, and role-plays specific to the Medicine profession.
- Develop structured content for practice sessions, mock tests, and remedial training.
- Customize materials based on learner needs, performance levels, and exam patterns.
3. Student Assessment & Feedback
- Evaluate writing tasks using OET assessment criteria: purpose, content, conciseness/clarity, genre/style, organization, and language accuracy.
- Conduct mock speaking tests with professional scenarios such as consultations, explanations, patient management, and breaking bad news.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback and maintain performance records.
4. Exam Preparation Guidance
- Train students in strategies for letter structure, tone, clarity, grammar, and formal medical communication.
- Improve learners’ fluency, pronunciation, interaction skills, and clinical communication techniques for speaking.
- Conduct exam-oriented revision sessions, one-to-one guidance, and doubt-clearing sessions.
5. Academic Coordination
- Coordinate with the Training Manager for scheduling, batch management, and progress updates.
- Support students through additional practice sessions when needed.
- Participate in periodic faculty meetings and internal skill-development workshops.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MBBS/MD Degree preferred (or a background in healthcare with strong medical communication skills).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OET training OR medical communication/teaching.
- Excellent command over English (C1/C2 level desirable).
- Strong understanding of OET exam format, doctor-specific scenarios, and evaluation standards.
- Ability to provide structured, actionable feedback to learners.
- Experience with online teaching platforms (Zoom/Google Meet/LMS).

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
