Off-Grid PV Solar System Installer

We are urgently looking for Off-Grid PV Solar System Installer for one of our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission off-grid solar PV systems, including panels, inverters, batteries, charge controllers, and related components.
• Conduct site surveys and assess locations for optimal solar system placement.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of installed solar systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, electrical, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with the institution’s facilities or maintenance team to integrate solar systems with existing infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and training to staff on system operation and basic maintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations, maintenance activities, and performance data.
• Recommend upgrades or improvements to enhance system efficiency and longevity.
• Respond promptly to system malfunctions or emergencies to minimize downtime.

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Proven experience in installing and maintaining off-grid PV solar systems, preferably in institutional or educational settings.
• Knowledge of solar PV system components, wiring, and battery technologies.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing solar systems.
