Offensive Cyber Operations Specialist

Job-Specific Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, develop, and execute adversarial attack scenarios against DoD enterprise systems and networks.
  • Simulate real-world threat actor behaviors using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Identify and exploit vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and cloud environments.
  • Conduct stealth operations aligned with OPSEC principles to ensure realism and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with Blue Teams to validate detection and response capabilities.
  • Document findings and deliver detailed remediation reports to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on emerging offensive security tools, techniques, and threat trends.

Job-Specific Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred focus in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field).
  • Minimum 5 years in technology consulting.
  • At least 3 years supporting federal government or DoD environments.

Must be active in at least one of these certifications :

  • CompTIA Security+
  • CISSP, ISSAP, CCSP CISM, CISA
  • GSLC, CCISO
  • Certified Red Team Professional (CRTP)
  • OSCP, OSCEGPEN, GWAPT
  • Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux.
  • Strong understanding of network security, threat vectors, and attack methodologies.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with tools like Metasploit, Burp Suite, Kali Linux.
  • Strong understanding of network security, threat vectors, and attack methodologies.
  • Experience with adversary emulation frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
  • Ability to assess cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Strong ethical hacking discipline and operational rigor.
  • Experience estimating resources and reporting progress to government stakeholders.

Pay Transparency

Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
