SigmaGraft Biomaterials Inc. is a medical device manufacturing company based in Fullerton, CA. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Coordinator to be a member of our administration team in managing the sourcing and purchasing processes. This role will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, monitoring supplier performance, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Additionally, the Procurement Coordinator will oversee daily operations to ensure smooth receiving, storing, and distribution of inventories.
Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing of quality products and services.
- Prepare and process purchase requests in compliance with company policies.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and resolve issues related to pricing, quality, or delivery.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Research and resourcing potential vendors for maintaining, purchasing and others
- Track and analyze purchasing trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Oversee storage operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and system updates.
- Implement proper storage and inventory control procedures to minimize loss, damage, or discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Monitor storage safety standards and maintain a clean, organized working environment.
- Support in preparing reports on procurement activities, storage performance, and inventory status.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other team members and other departments to ensure smooth supply chain processes.
- Assist in developing and improving procurement and storage SOPs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Associate or bachelor’s degree
- Authorized to work in the USA.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
