Office Administrative Assistant

We are a small glass company seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office Assistant to support daily operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy with numbers and measurements, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers and suppliers
  • Process customer orders using company software, email, and text communication
  • Prepare and send quotes, invoices, and order updates
  • Take customer payments via credit card terminal
  • Maintain organized filing systems (digital and physical)
  • Support general office operations and workflow

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail (critical for success in this role)
  • Comfortable working with numbers, measurements, and order accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance
  • Basic computer skills (email, data entry, order systems)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative, or customer service role
  • Experience with order processing, invoicing, or similar tasks
  • Familiarity with construction, glass, or measurements is a plus (not required)

Hours are 8-4 Monday through Friday.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
