Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, personable and highly organized Office Administrator to join our ministry team! Duties

  • Manage Church Office operations, greeting guests and directing them appropriately with professional phone etiquette
  • Operate multi-line phone systems efficiently, handling inquiries and routing calls promptly
  • Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital, including data entry and document proofreading
  • Utilize computer skills across Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive) for correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping, and Adobe InDesign for publications
  • Oversee calendar management and appointment scheduling for staff and building use
  • Assist with office management tasks such as supply inventory, mail distribution, and maintaining office equipment
  • Provide excellent congregational support and clerical assistance to ensure seamless office operations and consistent information
  • Handle confidential information with discretion while maintaining high levels of accuracy in all administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in office administration or related roles with strong organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive) and Adobe InDesign publication software and ease of learning database management
  • Excellent phone etiquette with experience managing multi-line phone systems
  • Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse community area and staff effectively
  • Strong keyboard skills with attention to detail for proofreading and data entry tasks
  • Previous experience as an Office Administrator or personal assistant is advantageous
  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in an often interrupted environment
