Job Title: Administrator (Hybrid) – Home Improvement Industry

Location: New Hartford, CT Hybrid (Work from Home + Occasional On-Site Visits) Must Live in the state of CT
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrator to support our growing home improvement business. This hybrid role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person responsibilities for site coordination, team support, and project assistance. You’ll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while supporting both office and field teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling, calendars, and appointments for projects and team members
  • Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, and internal staff
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records
  • Assist with invoicing, estimates, and basic bookkeeping tasks
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and customer inquiries professionally
  • Support project managers with administrative tasks and follow-ups
  • Organize and maintain digital filing systems and databases
  • Occasionally visit job sites or office locations for coordination and support

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative or office support role (industry experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable transportation for occasional in-person duties
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in construction, home improvement, or a related field
  • Familiarity with project management or CRM software
  • Basic understanding of invoicing or bookkeeping processes
