AMG Resources is seeking an Office Administrator to support our St. Paul recycling and scrap processing operation. This role is the hub of our facility—balancing accounting responsibilities, scale operations, logistics coordination, and front-office support.

What You'll Do
As our Office Administrator, you'll play a critical role in supporting plant operations and ensuring accurate administrative and accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the live scale to weigh inbound and outbound trucks and railcars.
- Accurately enter weight and transaction data into company scrap management systems.
- Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of inbound material receipts and outbound shipments.
- Maintain spreadsheets and supporting records for inventory and shipment tracking.
- Coordinate outbound truck shipments with freight carriers and logistics partners.
- Bill and release railcars through industry-specific online platforms.
- Review and process weekly accounts payable for facility expenses, including utilities, maintenance, and repairs.
- Enter vendor invoices and payable transactions into the accounting system.
- Track purchase orders and monitor the status of plant repair projects.
- Provide front-office support, including answering phones, greeting visitors, processing mail, and receiving deliveries.
- Partner with plant leadership, corporate accounting, vendors, and transportation providers to support daily operations.

Qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with accounting systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, vendors, customers, carriers, and management.
- Previous office administration, accounting, bookkeeping, logistics, scale operation, or industrial office experience is preferred.
