Office Administrator and Accounts Payable coordinator for Apartment Management Co

We are seeking an experienced Office Administrator for Lerner Residential, LLC

The Office Administrator will work in the corporate office of Lerner Residential, LLC which manages 10 apartment communities totaling 1,200 units in the Charlotte area. The administrator will work closely with the company Comptroller, on-site managers and company owners.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The primary responsibility is reviewing, processing and paying invoices received by the apartment communities and the corporate office. Payments are made utilizing our property management software and are processed with paper checks and online payments. Prior experience with account payable helpful.
  • Review leases and paperwork that originate in the apartment complex offices for accuracy.
  • Review delinquent resident payments with the on-site staff and process seriously delinquent items with our collection agency.
  • Assist the Comptroller with Human Resources matters.
  • Answer the phone and process mail.
  • Order office supplies for the corporate office and apartment offices
  • Perform additional duties to support daily operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in property management or accounts payable. Experience with both is helpful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of how to use property management or accounts payable software. We use AppFolio and experience with that platform is helpful but not required.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
  • Professional communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
