Office Administrator/Accountant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator cum Accountant with at least 2 years of relevant experience to manage daily administrative operations and support our finance team. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling multiple responsibilities efficiently, ensuring the office runs smoothly while maintaining accurate financial records.

Accounting:

  • Maintain day-to-day financial records, including general ledger entries, journal entries, and financial statements
  • Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and credit notes
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including follow-up with clients and vendors
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations and ensure accurate records of transactions
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
  • Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursement claims
  • Manage petty cash and expense tracking
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning
  • Office Administration:
  • Manage all day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations
  • Handle incoming and outgoing communications (calls, emails, mail)
  • Maintain and update office files, records, and documents in an organized manner
  • Manage office supplies and coordinate with vendors for procurement and services
  • Support scheduling of meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
  • Act as a point of contact between different departments and external clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in a combined admin and accounting role
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
  • Good verbal and written communication in English
  • Good understanding of VAT, tax returns, and basic financial compliance
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiar with basic HR tasks, UAE labor laws, and using government portals for visa and employee-related processes.

Visa - Preference will be given to candidates currently on a dependent visa.
