Office and Human Resources Assistant

Office Manager & HR Assistant

Settje Agri-Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and support company events. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient office management, coordinating internal processes, and supporting human resources functions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Office Management

  • Greet and welcome guests, directing them to the appropriate personnel .
  • Answer and manage incoming calls and emails, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, company events, and scheduling
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both paper and electronic records
  • Manage company correspondence, letters, and reports
  • Monitor and maintain office supply inventory, placing orders as needed
  • Ensure office cleanliness and overall professional appearance
  • Maintain firm engineering licenses and registrations
  • Act as the point of contact for office vendors and service providers
  • Run errands as needed, including coordinating lunches and general office needs
  • Coordinate catering and prepare amenities for meetings and company events
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Human Resources

  • Conduct full-cycle recruitment, including Writing job descriptions, Posting job openings, screening resumes & Assisting with onboarding
  • Assist with career fair planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Support the administration of HR policies and procedures
  • Help maintain and update employee handbook and company policies
  • Serve as liaison with external IT providers to ensure new hires receive proper equipment and system access
  • Stay current on employment laws and assist in updating company practices accordingly

Administrative Assistant

  • Assist owners and leadership with scheduling, coordination, and task tracking
  • Run errands and tasks as assigned
  • Maintain reports and spreadsheets
  • Track schedules, deadlines, meetings and internal follow-up
  • Ensure accurate and organized recordkeeping

Requirements

· Location: This position will be based in the SASE office near Raymond, Nebraska

· Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

· Work Environment: Office-based role supporting daily operations and internal teams

Qualifications

  • Experience: 1–3 years of administrative, office support, or customer service experience preferred
  • Education: Minimum of 2 year degree.
  • Skills: Strong organization, time management, and communication skills; ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Organization: Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Communication: Exceptional client-facing and internal communication skills, with strong written and verbal abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
