Office Assistant $13–$15/ hr

Jenkins Home Care is looking for a reliable, organized, and proactive Office Assistant to support our daily operations. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping others behind the scenes.


Position: Office Assistant

Pay Range: $13 – $15/hour
Employment Type: Part-time (20–30 hours/week)
Work Location: In-person, Charleston, SC


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner

  • Greet visitors and assist with in-office inquiries

  • Assist with scheduling caregiver shifts and client visits

  • Maintain accurate client and caregiver records

  • File, scan, and organize documentation (both physical and digital)

  • Assist with onboarding and HR paperwork for new hires

  • Support billing, data entry, and light bookkeeping

  • Perform general office upkeep (ordering supplies, tidying, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Friendly, professional communication skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

  • Experience with scheduling or home care software is a plus

  • Must be dependable, punctual, and a self-starter

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 10am-4pm

  • Daytime hours, with some flexibility

  • Occasional weekend check-ins or remote support, if needed
