Office Assistant

About Us

ODM Construction Inc. is a residential remodeling and new construction company serving homeowners across Ventura and LA County. We're a tight-knit, family-operated team that takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship and an exceptional client experience. As we grow, we're looking for a sharp, organized Office Assistant to keep our operations running smoothly from the inside.

The Role

You'll be the operational backbone of our office — the first voice clients hear, the person keeping our schedules tight, and the one making sure our project management systems stay clean and up to date. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates with confidence, and takes ownership of their work.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls, respond to client inquiries, and maintain a professional, welcoming tone on behalf of the company
  • Manage owner and project schedules, coordinate appointments, and send reminders to keep the team on track
  • Maintain and update project records in BuilderTrend and Asana, including task creation, status updates, and document uploads
  • Assist with client onboarding communications and follow-ups
  • Support the team with general administrative tasks, filing, and day-to-day office needs
  • Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to relay information accurately and on time

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of office, administrative, or customer-facing experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities without dropping the ball
  • Comfortable learning new software quickly — experience with BuilderTrend, Asana, or similar platforms is a plus
  • Construction industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player who takes initiative

Compensation & Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday–Friday
  • Compensation: $18–$22/hr depending on experience
  • In-office, Agoura Hills, CA
