We are looking for an Office Assistant to join our team on a contract basis in McLean, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have a detail-oriented demeanor, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities while assisting with administrative tasks. This role requires business attire and a positive, engaging personality to interact effectively with colleagues and visitors.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the first point of contact by greeting visitors and managing front desk activities.
• Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist in daily administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings and maintaining office records.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite to create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Support team members with clerical tasks and special projects as needed.
• Monitor office supplies and coordinate replenishment to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to office policies and uphold a detail-oriented atmosphere.
• Coordinate with vendors and external parties when necessary to support office functions.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or receptionist role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and with a high standard of conduct.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
• Business-appropriate attire is required daily.
• Positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Must be reliable and able to work independently when needed.
