Office Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Office Assistant to join our team and help ensure the smooth operation of our office environment. This role is vital in supporting daily administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication skills with our drivers and office staff.

Must live close to Midleville, MI.

Duty:

  • Handle data entry tasks using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments for staff or executives
  • Support office management tasks such as supply inventory, ordering materials, and maintaining cleanliness
  • Provide customer support by answering inquiries via phone or email with excellent phone etiquette and professionalism
  • Perform clerical duties including proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing incoming/outgoing mail

Qualifications

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks accounting software is highly desirable
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
  • Strong typing speed and data entry skills for efficient task completion
  • Knowledge of multi-line phone systems, filing procedures, and basic bookkeeping practices
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

Pay: $22.67 - $27.30 per hour
