Office Assistant

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly positive, energetic, and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role is key to creating a welcoming and professional experience for our customers and partners.

The ideal candidate is extremely friendly, upbeat, and confident on the phone, with a natural ability to make people feel comfortable and taken care of.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls with a warm, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Create a positive first impression for all callers and visitors
  • Perform filing and maintain organized records
  • Confirm and schedule job appointments
  • Assist subcontractors with coordination and communication
  • Support staff across all departments with various tasks as needed
  • Manage community involvement initiatives and events
  • Coordinate and manage home shows
  • Run occasional errands as needed

Qualifications:

  • Extremely friendly, upbeat personality with a strong customer-first mindset
  • Excellent phone skills — confident, clear, and personable
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay positive and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with basic office software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred (but not required):

  • Previous administrative or office experience
  • Experience in customer service or phone-based roles
  • Experience coordinating events or community outreach

Hours are M-F 10am-6pm, no remote options available, must be in office daily.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
