Job Summary

Greenbrier Humane Society is looking for an Office Assistant to perform general administrative duties, as well as assisting the managing and maintaining certain databases. We are looking for someone who can learn and grow in the position!

Duties

· Perform front desk activities, including but not limited to answering multi-line phone system, filing paperwork, and data entry

· Responsible for some cash handling, correspondence, maintenance and cleaning of work area, and social media upkeep

· Will perform other duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

Qualifications

· Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel

· Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

· Extremely detail oriented

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to represent GHS in a professional manner at all times

· Possess flexibility and ability to learn and quickly adapt to changes in programs, policies, and procedures

· Comfortable with dogs and cats

· Able to work during the hours - Tuesday – Saturday, 9am – 5pm

Physical Requirements

The function of this job requires standing and sitting for extended periods of time. Working on a computer is required. Some lifting will be necessary at times. Indoor and outdoor exposures will occur. Must be able to stoop, bend, and lift overhead on a frequent basis.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour
