Office Assistant

About Us

Daisuki Advanced Technology Inc. is an early-stage photonics and infrared detector company based in Bordentown, New Jersey. We focus on developing high-performance infrared detector technologies and related photonics products for spectroscopy, sensing, industrial, medical, scientific, and advanced instrumentation applications.

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily office operations, purchasing, logistics, basic accounting documentation, and company paperwork.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contact suppliers and vendors to request quotes, product information, lead times, and shipping details.
  • Help prepare and organize purchase orders, invoices, receipts, packing slips, quotes, and other company documents.
  • Track orders, shipments, delivery schedules, and basic inventory records.
  • Support shipping, receiving, sample/material delivery, and logistics coordination.
  • Organize company files, vendor records, customer records, insurance documents, employee documents, and contracts.
  • Assist with basic accounting documentation, including expense tracking, receipt collection, invoice matching, and payment records.
  • Help prepare documents for bookkeeping, tax records, payroll, insurance, and company compliance.
  • Communicate with suppliers, service providers, customers, and team members as needed.
  • Support general administrative tasks in a small startup environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous office, purchasing, logistics, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working with documents, invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and spreadsheets.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar tools.
  • Good communication and follow-up skills.
  • Responsible, reliable, and willing to learn.
  • Bilingual English/Chinese is a plus but not required.
  • Experience in a startup, laboratory, manufacturing, or technical company is a plus.
