Office Assistant

Overview
We are a general commercial contractor seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing administrative support and assisting with various tasks. This position requires strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Compensation based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily office operations, including scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by answering inquiries and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Assist in the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations with attention to detail.
  • Proofread written materials to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for both physical and digital documents.
  • Support team members with administrative tasks as needed, including data entry and clerical duties.
  • Act as a personal assistant to management when required, helping to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a construction office environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent proofreading skills to ensure high-quality documentation.
  • Basic computer literacy is required; familiarity with office equipment is a plus.
  • Clerical and accounting expericance will be beneficial for success in this position.
