Office Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Office Assistant will be responsible for various administrative duties, including data entry, calendar management, and front desk operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records in various databases.
  • Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
  • Greet visitors at the front desk and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and order supplies when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients, both in person and via email.
  • Support other administrative staff with special projects as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an office or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently.
  • Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience with calendar management and scheduling is a plus.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
