Office Assistant – Greenhouse & E-Commerce Operations (Full-Time, Hourly)

Location: Mount Dora, FL

Hours: Full-time (40 hrs/week)

Compensation: $18–$24/hour, based on experience

About Us:

We’re a growing plant distribution company specializing in sourcing and shipping high-quality plants to customers nationwide through our greenhouse and e-commerce operations. We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our Mount Dora team. If you enjoy working in a dynamic environment surrounded by plants and want to learn the ins and outs of greenhouse and online retail operations, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare and print shipping labels using ShipStation
  • Plan and schedule shipments efficiently
  • Enter and manage data in our Odoo ERP system
  • Work with Google Sheets and Excel to track inventory, shipments, and orders
  • Support e-commerce operations through Shopify
  • Assist with purchasing and communication with plant suppliers
  • Help manage email communication with clients and customers
  • Collaborate with our bilingual (English/Spanish) warehouse team — Spanish fluency is a plus but not required
  • Communicate internally via Slack with team members across multiple locations

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic computer skills (Excel/Google Sheets, email, etc.)
  • A willingness to learn new systems — we’ll train you on Odoo, Shopify, and ShipStation
  • Positive attitude and clear communication skills
  • Interest in plants or prior greenhouse/nursery experience is a plus
