Office Assistant/Bookkeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. This vital role combines administrative support with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and possess a passion for maintaining precise financial data.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily bookkeeping tasks
  • Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure consistency across all financial accounts.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and collections.
  • Assist with payroll processing and related tax filings to ensure timely and accurate employee payments.
  • Support budgeting activities by compiling financial data and preparing reports for management review.
  • Maintain organized records of financial documents, including receipts, invoices, and bank statements, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Answer phone to assist tenants with questions.
  • Effective communication with coworkers, vendors and tenants

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and external auditors.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy under pressure.

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
