Job Summary:
The Office Boy is responsible for delivering and picking up documents, running administrative tasks, handling mail, and doing bank tasks. They also help with office moves, keep the vehicle in good condition, and support the team with other tasks as needed. Good communication and safe driving are important. The role also includes basic technician and electrician work, such as minor repairs or equipment setup. A valid driving license is required.
Responsibilities:
- Deliveries and Pick-ups: Transport documents, packages, or goods to and from specified locations as per the company's requirements.
- Mail Distribution: Handle the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail within the office or to external locations.
- Bank Transactions: Carry out banking tasks such as depositing cheques, withdrawing cash, or other financial transactions as needed.
- Document Submission: Submit important documents to government offices, clients, or other relevant entities.
- Office Supplies Procurement: Purchase and collect office supplies, ensuring that the office has necessary stationery, grocery and materials.
- Errand Running: Run various errands for the office, such as purchasing snacks, meals, or other items needed for meetings or events.
- Equipment Delivery: Deliver and pick up office equipment, such as laptops, projectors, or other devices, for meetings or events.
- Assisting in Office Moves: Assist in relocating office equipment or materials during office moves or rearrangements.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the delivery vehicle.
- Updating Records: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and any other relevant information.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with office staff to coordinate and confirm delivery details.
- Adherence to Traffic Rules: Follow traffic rules and regulations while driving to ensure safety and compliance.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or external contacts during deliveries.
- Reporting Issues: Report any issues or delays in deliveries promptly to the appropriate office personnel.
- Security: Ensure the security of delivered items and maintain confidentiality as required.
- Other assigned tasks in other resources absence.
Requirements:
· Having 1-2 years experience in corporate sector will be preferred
· Atleast Matric or Intermediate will be a plus
