Office Clerk/Administrative Assistant

Pitta LLP has been representing labor unions and their affiliated employee benefit funds for over 40 years. We are seeking a reliable and detail orientated individual to provide general office and administrative support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Open new client files and maintain sub-files as directed by attorneys and other professionals

· Organizing and maintaining physical and digital documents/files for easy retrieval

· Archiving files for storage

· Answer and route in coming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner

· Maintenance and distribution of attorney / professional daily schedules

· Update attorney contacts

· Assist the mailroom clerk with sorting, delivering, and sending mail and packages

· Prepare coffee and refreshments as needed for meetings and the managing partner

· Run small office errands and assist with general office upkeep

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Abilities:

· Prior office or administrative experience, preferred (law firm experience a plus)

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel, and experience with ADOBE

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and deadlines

· Ability to follow directions

· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Ability to lift 10 pounds

· Ability to walk ¾ of a mile

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
