Office Clerk/Office Assistant

The Gentry Law Firm is a seeking professional, motivated, organized, highly skilled individual with great attention to detail and ability to multitask for position in a busy office. Excellent computer skills required. Bachelor’s degree, two years legal or office experience preferred. Please email resume to staff@jgentrylaw.com.

  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities:
The Office Clerk/Office Assistant is responsible for:

1. Preparing attorney for court, trials, settlement conferences, client meetings, and meetings with opposing counsel.

2. Filing pleadings.

3. Arranging discovery.

4. Drafting basic transmittal letters and emails to clients and opposing counsel.

5. Opening and maintaining client files.

6. Serving as a courier/runner.

7. Answering phones.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
