Ideal Designer Decoration Co. LLC is an experienced and well-established interior fit-out and joinery company based in Abu Dhabi. With a strong portfolio across commercial, retail, and residential sectors, we specialize in delivering high-quality custom interiors and precision joinery works. We are currently looking for a dedicated Office Engineer to join our professional team.

Job Description:

The Office Engineer will be responsible for maintaining all project-related records, preparing and organizing quotations, coordinating documentation between departments, and ensuring accurate filing of office paperwork. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills to support smooth project operations and administrative efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • • Prepare, review, and maintain records of all project quotations and cost comparisons.
  • Keep detailed documentation of project progress, correspondences, and approvals.
  • Maintain organized filing systems (both digital and physical) for all office and project documents.
  • Coordinate with the design, procurement, and site teams to ensure accurate and updated project data.
  • Track and update project status reports and maintain logs for all ongoing and completed projects.
  • Assist in preparing project submittals, reports, and correspondence with clients and consultants.
  • Support management in documentation required for tenders, contracts, and payments.
  • Ensure confidentiality and easy retrieval of all office and project documents.
  • Follow up with suppliers and vendors for quotation updates and material submittals.
  • Perform other administrative and coordination tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in office or site engineering (interior fit-out preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documentation tools.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in UAE or GCC joinery/interior fit-out industry
  • Immediate availability is a plus
