Warehouse Operator Responsibilities:

· Receiving and inspecting incoming and outgoing goods.

· Reviewing goods received against invoices for discrepancies.

· Unloading deliveries from vehicles, unpackaging goods and storing contents.

· Following Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) procedures.

· Operating forklifts for movement of stock including lifting, placing and removing stock in high places.

· Operating manual and electronic order–picking tools and machines.

· Labelling incoming and outgoing goods.

· Weighing, measuring and packing goods and containers.

· Assisting with stocktakes.

· Operating computers and tools to locate items.

Key Responsibilities: General and Task Management

· Take delivery of goods and supplies

· Check for damaged or missing items

· Store goods appropriately

· Pick and pack orders for dispatch

· Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck

· Load goods for dispatch

· Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards

· Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system

· Keep accurate stock records

· Carry out stock counts as and when required

· Keep paperwork up to date

· Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures

Cleaner Responsibilities:

· Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors of various types.

· Dusting ceilings, light fittings, countertops, and loose furniture.

· Scrubbing and sanitizing toilets, sinks, and kitchen fixtures.

· Emptying trash cans.

· Washing and drying windows.

· Liaising with the line manager to ensure that you have sufficient cleaning products at all times.

· Reporting any breakages that occur during the cleaning process.

· Informing the line manager of repairs that need to be done.
