Position: Office & Human Resources Administrator

About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing human resources, customer service, and accounting support functions to ensure smooth daily operations, regulatory compliance, and effective coordination across departments in a manufacturing environment.
Note: Experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is required.

Responsibilities

Human Resources & Compliance

  • Administer employee benefits, open enrollment, workers' compensation, and leave programs
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes, including new-hire documentation, safety training, and system access
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
  • Process payroll and coordinate timekeeping, wage adjustments, and reporting with department managers
  • Monitor employment law updates and support policy adjustments
  • Assist with performance management, employee relations, and documentation requirements

Customer Service & Office Administration

  • Serve as primary point of contact for customers via phone and email
  • Enter customer orders, issue confirmations, and coordinate with production and shipping to meet delivery timelines
  • Manage order tracking, invoicing, and resolve discrepancies
  • Handle incoming calls, mail, and general administrative requests
  • Maintain office supplies and vendor relationships
  • Administer company fleet and driver compliance program, including maintenance and insurance tracking
  • Track company fixed assets and maintain related documentation

Accounting Support

  • Oversee accounting workflows and provide backup support for accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end close
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and budgeting activities as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years of office management experience with HR responsibilities
  • Previous experience in the Food Manufacturing industry is required
  • Strong understanding of payroll, benefits administration, and basic accounting principles
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
