Job Summary
The Office Manager oversees the daily administrative and operational functions of the office, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional work environment. This role includes managing resources, supporting leadership, and taking an active role in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative procedures
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of administrative and support staff
- Supervise office staff, set performance expectations, and conduct evaluations
- Develop and implement training programs to improve staff efficiency and skills
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, and internal events
- Handle internal and external communications and correspondence
- Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital)
- Support HR functions including attendance tracking, basic payroll coordination, and policy implementation
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice approvals
- Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and health & safety standards
- Serve as a liaison between management, employees, and external partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, HR Administrator, or similar role
- Experience with staff recruitment, training, and performance management
- Strong organizational, leadership, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in office management software and MS Office
