Iowa Soft Water is seeking a reliable and highly organized Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our small business office. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and can manage administrative, financial, and customer service responsibilities independently.
You will be the primary person running the office, handling everything from scheduling and customer communication to bookkeeping tasks.
Schedule
This position offers a flexible schedule.
- In-office hours: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Phone availability: Ability to answer calls and assist customers remotely until 5:00 PM
Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Invoice customers and track payments
- Schedule service appointments and coordinate technician schedules
- Order office and service supplies
- Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships
- Maintain office organization and cleanliness
- Assist with general administrative duties required to keep a small business running smoothly
Qualifications
- Previous office administration or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Experience with AR/AP and invoicing
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency (email, spreadsheets, scheduling software)
