Under the general supervision of the Administration Manager [Staff Services Manager I (Supervisor)] in the Administrative and Technical Support Unit (ATSU), the Office Support Technician provides administrative and clerical support to the Division of Mine Reclamation (DMR). The incumbent is expected to exercise a high degree of initiative and independence performing assigned tasks while applying knowledge and application of detailed regulations, policies, and procedures. Good judgment and the ability to communicate effectively is of primary importance at this level.

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment. This position is contingent on budget approval.

Working Conditions
This position is located in Sacramento and is eligible for a hybrid telework schedule, with employees required to work in-person at 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. At least three days of remote work and up to two days of in-office work per week is the available hybrid telework schedule for this position. Alternative work locations will not be considered.
Candidates who reside outside of the State of California may be admitted to the job interview but must show proof of residence in California prior to being eligible for appointment.
