Office/Finance Manager

Job Summary

The United Synagogue of Hoboken is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance / Office Manager to join our team. This role is an integral part of our organization, working closely with our Preschool, Religious School and Administrative Directors to support and manage our financial operations. We are looking for someone who is thoughtful, reliable, and eager to be part of a collaborative and dynamic community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Process payroll
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budget tracking
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Oversee payment processing systems
  • Provide Office Leadership

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of college in a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Experience with financial management, bookkeeping, or similar roles
  • Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Flexibility and comfort working in a fast-paced office environment

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
