- Maintaining and updating the GL, ensuring all transactions are accurately classified and recorded.
- Managing, processing, verifying, and recording vendor invoices, ledgers and timely payments.
- Regularly reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and subsidiary ledgers (like AR and AP) to identify and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Preparing and posting various journal entries, especially for month-end and year-end adjustments
- Assisting in the preparation of periodic financial statements (Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements) and management reports.
- Ensuring financial transactions and record-keeping adhere to internal policies and financial control procedures.
- Preparing and organizing financial documents and records to provide support during internal and external financial audits.
