Our client, a pioneering venture established through a long-term concession agreement, is dedicated to enhancing container capacity and operational efficiency to strengthen global trade connectivity. They are now seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join their team.

Position: Assistant Manager – Port Operations & Cargo Handling
Location: Karachi (Only)
Shift: Rotational (12 hours)
Salary: PKR 65,000 – 85,000
Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in sea port cargo handling
Language Skills: Basic English (Reading & Writing)

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all gate functions at Karachi Port, ensuring smooth cargo operations.
• Verify container inspection, seal verification, and documentation accuracy before processing.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, QHSE policies, and all legal/regulatory formalities.
• Maintain data accuracy and oversee documentation processes.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, and other departments to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Report irregularities, uphold confidentiality, and maintain professional conduct at all times.
• Assist subordinates and superiors in operational responsibilities as needed.

Skills & Abilities:

• Strong supervisory and front-desk management skills
• Proficiency in basic computer operations and document handling
• Excellent coordination and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to perform under pressure in a highly regulated environment
