Officer - IT Support

We are looking for I.T. Support Officer. Candidates who can join immediately are highly deisred.

Job location: Sharfabad.

Responsibilities :

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and approved software applications
• Provide step-by-step assistance to employees in resolving technical issues, both remotely and on-site
• Diagnose and troubleshoot network, hardware, and software problems to minimize downtime
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and reports related to IT support and system performance
• Analyze logs and user feedback to identify recurring technical problems and suggest preventive measures
• Set up new user accounts, configure profiles, and resolve password and access-related issues
• Test, evaluate, and provide feedback on new hardware and software before implementation
• Support departmental head in preparing data and documentation for IT-related KPIs
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of support requests and issue resolutions in the helpdesk system
• Provide full support for ERP POS implementation and day-to-day operations.
• Monitor ERP POS system performance and ensure smooth functioning across all locations.
• Identify, document, and escalate any issues or new requirements to the developer team or third-party vendor for resolution.
• Conduct user training sessions, meetings, and knowledge transfer regarding ERP/POS software.
• Perform regular system checks, updates, and coordinate necessary customizations.
• Provide on-site field support; visit outlets/branches to resolve IT and POS software-related issues.
• Ensure timely activation of backup servers and recovery procedures in case of server downtime.
• Collaborate closely with third-party vendors to resolve technical problems and support end-users effectively.
• Maintain IT assets, networking, and ensure business continuity of software systems.
• Perform any other ad-hoc responsibilities as and when assigned by management.

Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Good knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and basic networking.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
• Familiarity with ERP/POS systems will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to provide on-site and remote support when required.
• Able to do rotational shifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs32,000.00 - Rs35,000.00 per month
