The position is responsible to carry out the operational and administrative activities of the marketing and sales department. Standard (not exhaustive) requirements of the position are listed below:

Job Description
- Conduct cold calls to prospective customers to generate new business leads.
- Perform secondary research to gather and analyze data for identifying potential business opportunities.
- Follow up with debtors to ensure timely receipt of outstanding payments.
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, pre bid and post bid comments, bid bonds, performance bond guarantees and perform all operational tasks related to tender submission.
- Deal with all customer enquiries in a professional manner and timely resolve all queries.
- Coordinate with the production and supply chain department to obtain information related to stock levels of work-in-process and finished goods.
- Maintain complete documentation of marketing and sales department including updated client profiles, ongoing, completed and rejected projects, etc.
- Prepare reports for the management including monthly marketing and sales report, invoice status report, dispatch status report, etc.
- Manage downstream logistics.
- Implement API/QHSE procedures and ensure product/process quality.
- Ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
