Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Purchase & Outdoor Officer to manage urgent market purchases, coordinate outdoor procurement activities, and ensure timely availability of materials, equipment, and supplies for operational departments. The ideal candidate should possess strong market knowledge, vendor coordination skills, documentation handling capability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Preference will be given to candidates having relevant experience in the Food Industry / FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Procure raw materials, operational supplies, and miscellaneous items from the local market in urgent or emergency situations.
- Purchase office equipment, tools, machinery, and other approved items as per departmental requirements.
- Coordinate with concerned departments to confirm specifications, quantity, and urgency before procurement.
- Ensure all purchases are conducted in compliance with company policies, approved budgets, and procurement procedures.
- Collect, verify, and maintain invoices, receipts, delivery challans, and other supporting documents.
- Submit bills and purchase-related documentation to the Accounts/Procurement Department for timely processing and record keeping.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of outdoor purchases, vendor visits, and procurement activities.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with local vendors, suppliers, and market contacts.
- Ensure timely transportation and delivery of purchased materials to the required department or location.
- Conduct market visits for rate comparison, availability checks, and sourcing of new vendors.
- Support management with outdoor operational tasks and any other assigned responsibilities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Purchase, Procurement, or Outdoor Operations.
- Preference will be given to candidates from Food Industry / FMCG background.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good knowledge of local market purchasing and sourcing practices.
- Ability to manage documentation and maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with purchase procedures and basic inventory coordination.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent procurement requirements efficiently.
- Must possess good knowledge of Karachi markets and routes.
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
