MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE: To support day-to-day Revenue Management activities for assigned markets, aiming to maximize network revenue through the application of effective strategies and close coordination with key Revenue Management streams including Pricing, Demand, and Inventory and other relevant stakeholders. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Carries out extensive competitive analysis to identify and analyze passenger demand and booking trends to help plan and implement pricing strategies for assigned markets.
  • Conducts competitive benchmarking for all channels to diversify distribution and increase reach for all flydubai fare brands,
  • Monitors fares used for network optimization in the Revenue Management system and makes necessary changes through influences where required.
  • Communicates regularly with the respective sales and marketing teams to better understand market dynamics and collect ground intel to evaluate and plan specialized products to gain market share.
  • Ensures fare filings are done as per set standards and communicates with Pricing Distribution effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Tracks and monitors fare program performances and updates the Regional Revenue Management Leads and Sales’ teams periodically.
  • Reviews and manages recommendations from Revenue Management system to ensure optimal seat inventory for assigned flights in order to maximize network revenue.
  • Manages cabin overbooking levels by considering expected show-up rates and pre-departure cancellations to optimize seat allocation and revenue..
  • Analyzes current and historical performances on booking trends, market conditions, POS-OD mix to make informed decisions on inventory management.
  • Reviews and provides recommendations on equipment type and flight capacities to Network Planning & Operations teams.
  • Collaborates and communicates with Airport Operations team to efficiently manage critically overbooked flights to prevent denied boardings.
  • Monitors and respond to changes in demand, booking behavior, competitor actions and market trends ensuring optimal pricing and inventory strategies.
  • Conducts post-departure flight checks to evaluate the effectiveness of applied pricing and inventory strategies, monitors forecasting system accuracy, and provides ongoing feedback to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Reviews Origin & Destination (O&D) and Point of Sale - Origin Destination (POS-OD) level demand generated by forecasting systems, applies manual influences based on expected market changes, and communicates insights to Revenue Management stakeholders to support accurate forecasting, network planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • Ensures the impact of holiday periods, special events, and new route or frequency launches is accurately captured in the demand forecasting system through timely analysis and creation of demand sponsorships.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's Degree (3+ years)
  • Bachelor's degree in aviation management, mathematics, economics, or business management preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in related field desirable
  • Experience in working with any Revenue Management System, Analytical tools will be an added advantage
  • Years with qualifications: 2 - 4 years

ISR Requirements: Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and follows associated guidelines in the day-to-day business operations.
