The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring VAT compliance as per UAE regulations, and supporting monthly and annual financial reporting. The role requires strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in managing multiple client accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting cycle for assigned UAE clients.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns in compliance with Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
- Ensure proper VAT documentation, input-output tax calculations, and compliance with applicable laws.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist clients during VAT audits and respond to FTA queries when required.
- Ensure timely closing of books and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Coordinate with clients to obtain required financial data and documentation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (ACCA/CA Inter preferred).
- 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably handling UAE clients.
- Strong practical knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements.
- Experience in accounting software (QuickBooks, Zoho, Tally, or similar ERP systems).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs110,000.00 per month
