Join our offshore commissioning team and contribute to the successful delivery of major Oil & Gas projects by ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality electrical system commissioning at every stage.

Your Responsibilities:

Support and execute offshore electrical commissioning activities in line with approved procedures and project commissioning plans.

Carry out energization, testing, and start-up of LV/MV electrical systems and associated equipment.

Perform functional checks, loop checks, and continuity/insulation resistance testing.
-
Assist in pre-commissioning activities including cable testing, termination checks, and equipment readiness verification.

Support testing of electrical equipment such as switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS systems, batteries, and generators.

Participate in protection relay testing and verification of control logic in coordination with instrumentation teams.

Assist in troubleshooting electrical faults during commissioning and start-up phases.
-
Record test results, punch lists, and commissioning progress in documentation systems.

Support system completion dossiers and handover documentation to operations.

Ensure accurate reporting of deviations, punch items, and site queries.
-
Comply strictly with offshore HSE policies, PTW systems, and LOTO procedures.

Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety walks.

Coordinate with commissioning engineers, construction teams, and vendors during system completion and testing.

Support multi-discipline commissioning activities and assist in resolving technical issues.

Your Profile:
-
Technical Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
-
Offshore certifications (BOSIET/FOET) and H2S certification preferred.
-
3–5 years of experience in electrical commissioning within Oil & Gas projects.
-
Previous offshore experience is highly preferred.
-
Strong knowledge of electrical systems (switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, generators).

Understanding of protection systems, relay testing, and electrical safety systems.

Familiarity with commissioning tools (megger, multimeter, secondary injection kits).
-
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings (single line diagrams, wiring, termination drawings).
-
Strong commitment to HSE and safe offshore working practices.
-
Good communication and teamwork skills in multi-national environments.
-
Problem-solving mindset with strong hands-on technical capability.
-
Ability to work in offshore rotational assignments.
