RINA is looking for one Senior and two Junior Process Safety engineers.
They will work as part of an engineering team during the detailed design phase of an Oil & Gas project. Expected seniority, with flexibility, is 4-8 years for junior engineers and 10-15 years for the senior engineer.
The role will involve the understanding and development of HSE technical analyses and desk studies and relevant reporting, such as, for example: QRAs, Safety Cases / HSE Cases within an oil & gas engineering project. Desirable requirements:
- working experience in Loss Prevention and Health & Safety Analyses activities for chemical, petrochemical, oil and gas industry onshore/offshore, including working experience in FERA, QRA and Loss Prevention Analyses, Consequence Assessment, Event Tree and Fault Tree Analysis, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, FMEA
- Familiarity with main software packages for QRA and FERA, HAZOP/HAZID recording (e.g. Phaworks, PHAPro, and alike)
- Understanding of the technical issues of O&G and Petrochemical world
Education expected:
- University Degree preferably in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Safety Engineering or Nuclear Engineering
- Fluency in English Language
The project is expected to last 1+ year with possibility of extension, main working place is Cairo with possibility of hybrid work.
