About the Job:

We are looking for an Oil and Gas Title Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in complex HBP title, joint operating agreements, Oklahoma Corporation Commission Orders, and other related documents. This is a remote position, and the candidate can work from anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze complex HBP title, joint operating agreements, Oklahoma Corporation Commission Orders, and other related documents
• Research and analyze title records to determine ownership and encumbrances
• Render drilling, division order, and acquisition title opinions based on the findings
• Communicate with partners and clients as needed to resolve any issues or questions related to title

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active Oklahoma law license, although we will consider licensure in other jurisdictions including Texas
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex oil and gas title examination
• Strong understanding of HBP title, joint operating agreements, Oklahoma Corporation Commission Orders, and other related documents
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong written communication skills
