O&M infrastructure Engineer

• Ensure all RHEL systems comply with vendor recommendations and security best practices.
• Ensure adherence to NCA and NIC cybersecurity regulations.
• Contribute to OS lifecycle planning, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Install, configure, manage, operate, and maintain RHEL server systems and RHEL Clusters (RHEL 7, 8, 9).
• Perform daily operations support including installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, virus protection, and resource observation.
• Manage PACEMAKER clusters.
• Support SAP, SAPHANA, and SAP4HANA environments running on RHEL.
• Review system logs and OS behavior to proactively identify and address issues.
• Build strong working relationships with ERP, application, DB, and webhosting teams for support and maintenance.
• Manage and maintain monitoring agents (SCOM, AppDynamic) and management agents (SCCM).
• Create and maintain technical design and operational documentation.
• Manage user/group account creation, maintenance, and policies.
• Raise and manage RedHat support tickets including troubleshooting, log collection, and follow-up.

Expertise in RHEL (7,8, 9) and RHEL clustering (Pacemaker).

Strong experience supporting SAP/SAPHANA on RHEL.

Proficient in OS installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and patch management.

Experience managing user/group accounts and implementing account policies.

Experience with monitoring agents (SCOM, AppDynamic) and management tools (SCCM).
