Job Description:
Customer Interface & Technical Prescription
Lead technical exchanges, workshops, and clarifications with customers in a credible and trust‑building manner. Clearly explain complex technical concepts, design choices, and trade‑offs to customer stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong customer‑facing, communication, and influencing skills to support technical credibility and customer confidence.
Be connected with SE Line of Businesses and be up to date on the last technical evolutions of equipment/ systems to leverage it to the benefit of customer future technical solutions
Tender Support & Upstream Alignment
Actively contribute to tender and pre‑tender phases, ensuring the proposed electrical and cooling designs are technically sound, competitive, and executable. Define and validate technical architectures, design assumptions, and compliance matrices.
Ensure consistency between tender commitments and executable project design.
Technical Design Authority
Lead and approve basic and detailed electrical and cooling designs in line with customer requirements and SE standards. Ensure coherence, robustness, and compliance of all design deliverables across projects and regions.
Technical Team Coordination
Coordinate and guide project technical teams, ensuring design activities align with project planning and milestones. Identify needs for specific expertise and coordinate involvement of SMEs and specialists.
Monitor technical scope, engineering effort, and key technical cost drivers.
Stakeholder & Supplier Coordination
Work in close collaboration with PMs, GTLs, Execution TLs, engineers, factories, and suppliers. Lead and coordinate technical aspects of subcontracted scope in alignment with procurement. Act as the single technical interface for internal and external stakeholders on design topics.
Design Scope & Lifecycle Coverage
Perform and review design and specification activities from pre‑design and tender through L5 commissioning, optimizing the use of Schneider Electric’s portfolio. Typical scope includes:

MV / LV systems, transformers, UPS, busways

E‑house integration and site installation
-
Cooling systems and controls
-
BMS and monitoring systems
Support FAT, SAT, and prototype validations when required.
Risk, Quality & Continuous Improvement
Identify technical risks, design deviations, and change impacts versus contract or approved baseline. Support PMs and Execution TLs in technical assessments of changes and variation orders.
Ensure compliance with SE processes (CPP, TDP), quality standards, and safety and cybersecurity requirements. Capture lessons learned and drive standardization and continuous improvement across accounts.
(External) English Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering Electrical.

Fluent English.

7 years in leading technical scope of customer projects, or parts of large & international customer projects.

Technical experience in the Hyperscale Data Center
-
Technical experience in AI Data center infrastructure area plus
-
Technical experience in MV, LV, UPSs, Tx, Busbar, EPMS, Cooling Equipment and BMS (Ideally all fields).

Ability to lead with agility in a complex & matrix environment.

Ability to communicate (written, verbal) clearly in a concise and synthetic manner on complex technical strategy.

Ability to convince stakeholders on the proper project technical strategy

Ability to learn from others, share her/his knowledge, coach others and collaborate efficiently.

Ability to read and understand applicable standards
