O&M Site Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine operation and maintenance activities for the solar PV plant.
  • Monitor plant performance through SCADA and ensure maximum generation efficiency.
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar modules, inverters, transformers, and associated equipment.
  • Troubleshoot faults and ensure timely rectification to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain daily generation reports, incident logs, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of HT/LT systems, protection systems, and switchgear.
  • Coordinate with vendors for warranty claims, repairs, and spare parts management.
  • Carry out module cleaning schedules and ensure optimal performance ratio (PR).
  • Implement and follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards at site.
  • Assist in audits, inspections, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with grid requirements and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in solar plant O&M (preferably utility-scale).
  • Hands-on experience with inverters, transformers, and SCADA systems.
  • Basic understanding of protection systems and electrical troubleshooting.

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Solar Plant O&M: 2 years (Preferred)
