On-Call BabySitter

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and flexible On-Call BabySitter to provide reliable childcare support for families in need. Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and fun
• Ensure the safety of children at all times by maintaining a vigilant and responsible presence
• Prepare snacks or meals as needed, adhering to any dietary restrictions or allergies
• Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, rules, and special needs
• Assist with diapering, potty training, and basic hygiene tasks for infants and toddlers
• Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, milestones, or concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized environment to support children’s comfort and safety
• Be prepared to respond promptly in emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in babysitting, nannying, daycare work, or caregiving roles involving children of various ages
• Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific care techniques for infants, toddlers, and children with disabilities
• Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
• Ability to work flexibly on short notice during evenings, weekends, or holidays
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and guardians
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth
• Familiarity with childcare best practices including diapering, feeding, safety protocols, and developmental activities
